STATEMENT OF FAITH
1. Scripture: We accept the Holy Bible (KJV) as the inspired Word of God given to us by holy men of God as a guideline for salvation, Christian living and all truth ( II Timothy 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:20, 21)
2. We believe in one, eternal, almighty God. ( James 2:19 )
3. God created man . Because of disobedience to God - man fell and God sent Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Because of this disobedience sin entered into the world and upon all mankind. (Genesis 1:27; 3:1019)
4. The pardon of one's sins is brought about by true repentance, being truly sorrowful for all past sins and truly forsaking all iniquities. The remission of one's sins is brought about through true repentance (Romans 5:1; 10:9, 10,13; Acts 10:43; 22:16; I Peter 3:21).
5. The scriptural practice of water baptism is immersion in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ and is only for those who have fully repented and have turned from their sins and their love for the world/worldly lusts. It should be administered by a duly authorized minister of the Gospel in obedience to the Holy Bible in accordance to the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 2:38; 8:16; 10:48; 19:5), thus obeying Matthew 28:19.
6. We believe, after having obeyed the command of repentance and being baptized, we shall receive the baptism of the Spirit. John the Baptist in Matthew 3:11 prophesied: "He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire."
I Corinthians 12:4-11, "Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
7. We accept every day as God's day. We have designated Sunday as our special day of worship.
